Gib is proud to be from North Carolina, attending Greenville schools and graduating from J.H. Rose High School in 1998. He attended Pepperdine University in Malibu, California and graduated in 2001 with his Bachelor of Arts degree and then pursued his Juris Doctorate from Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama. In March, 2006, he was admitted to the North Carolina Bar and has been serving clients in the New Bern area ever since.

Gib makes it a priority to be personally active within the community in addition to serving Craven County through his legal services. While much of his time is spent with family, he also volunteers with Habitat for Humanity and sits on the Pitt County Board of Directors as well as sponsoring athletic teams and participating in charitable galas and walks.
